Lately, though feeling stuck and experiencing difficulty with genuinely expressing my true feelings, I've realized that silence can actually hurt me a little bit (or at least cause distance with others). Me particularly, because I stay to myself it causes me to keep a shell around me. Or the things that I actually react to are the main giveaways that I try so hard to protect.

As a creative, I've noticed that it's so easy to overthink; which causes anxiety, assumptions, and an action to take place. Though these can cause negative outcomes when looking at how overthinking affects me externally, it definitely affects me internally as well (mentally). Creative people may make their best work when their mind becomes overloaded with various feelings. On the other hand, some creatives may actually make their best work when they're in a good mental space. Expressing myself, dealing with anxiety, and creating new art work has been my personal challenge lately. How do you create work while getting through your current feelings? Do you allow your emotional state to help you or to hinder you?
